New Xerox logo: what the rebrand with Lexmark means
Xerox has unveiled a new logo and a refreshed brand identity. This is more than a cosmetic update: the new identity reflects the combined strengths of Xerox and Lexmark, two established names in the printing world. In this article, we explain what is actually changing, why, and what it means for your Xerox equipment in Brussels.
What did Xerox announce?
In early June 2026, Xerox introduced a fully redesigned brand through its official channels. According to the manufacturer, the move marks the next phase of the company and sets the foundation for what comes next. The change is not just a new logo — it is a broader brand identity that embodies the combination of Xerox and Lexmark, with the promise of more capability, more scale and more added value for clients and partners.
Why a new logo? The Lexmark acquisition explained
The rebrand is the logical next step following a period of major reinvention at Xerox.
A USD 1.5 billion acquisition
Xerox completed its acquisition of Lexmark on 1 July 2025, in a transaction valued at 1.5 billion dollars. The result is a significantly larger group that, according to the company, ranks among the top five in every major print segment, with more than 200,000 clients across some 170 countries. Earlier, Xerox had also acquired IT services provider ITsavvy.
What this means for the offering
Combining both brands broadens the portfolio: from desktop printers and multifunction devices to production systems, software and managed services. For the end user, that translates into a wider range of devices, stronger service coverage and more integrated solutions.
What does this mean for Xerox customers in Brussels?
The key message is reassuring: for your day-to-day operations, nothing changes about the reliability you count on.
Your devices and contracts keep working
Your existing Xerox devices, consumables and service contracts remain fully valid. The new visual identity has no impact on the operation of your fleet, your Managed Print Services or your current agreements.
A broader offering, a single point of contact
In time, a wider Xerox and Lexmark portfolio means even more choice when building the right print environment — from ConnectKey technology and document management to security and Xerox Apps. At D&O Partners, you keep a single local point of contact for that entire offering.
